A: Because it is stealing if we do not. It is a matter of not only academic, but also personal, integrity.
Q:What information are we obligated to cite?
A: Any information which is not common knowledge and does not belong to us.<br>
slide3. Query #2 Q: What is the relationship between a Works Cited and a parenthetic citation?
A: A parenthetic (in-paper) citation shows from which source in your Works Cited you got your facts. What is in parentheses should be FIRST in the Works Cited.

Question marks and exclamation points should appear within the quotation marks if they are a part of the quoted passage but after the parenthetical citation if they are a part of your text.<br>

Names of law cases are abbreviated. The important word(s) of each party's name is spelled out.
Use "v." between parties names.
Case number.
Court--Supreme Court of the US or other federal or state court.
Date of case.
Use year the decision was made.
Source of information.
Medium of publication.
Date accessed if found on web.
Cite in text using first part of the first party in the case.<br>
