People of different discipline view development differently.
Development is a goal and process of change aimed at the betterment of life style of human beings.
It may be defined as a process of change in the society in the terms of economic growth with anthropocentric view point.<br>

The ‘change’ in the definition of development is used in wider sense to include positive material,social and organizational changes.
Such changes should ultimately help to achieve the goal of economic growth and eradicate social problems
There are two view points regarding development
Anthropocentric view point and
Ecocentric view point<br>
