slide2. Background In March, a survey was conduced in NHS Hospitals to identify how Acute Kidney Injury Care (AKI) is being delivered in NHS Hospitals
It was led by UK Kidney Association (UKKA) and supported the work of the UKKA AKI Specialist Interest Group (SIG), the NHSE/I Renal Service Transformation programme and the Society for Acute Medicine (SAM)
The aim of the survey was to seek feedback from NHS Hospitals on their AKI service provisions and use that information to inform the development of the optimal AKI pathway of care which is currently under review
