Easel” thematic unit seeks to expose students to different genres of music using both “lecture” and “hands-on” methods over the course of one week. In this thematic unit, students listen and learn about the different genres of music that interest students. At the end, they also get to create their own art while learning about the many facets of music and music expression. Over the course of one week and five lessons, students will make connections to music (old and new), music history. & Musical Theatre. . Dance. Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Co.. Origins of Jazz Dance. The roots of jazz dance are found in Africa.. Found in the rhythms and movements of African dance brought to the US by slaves.. T. re. y Nubine. Period 4. SPORTS. Jerry Rice is widely considered to be the greatest wide receiver in the history of the NFL. While in college, he earned All-America honors and set 18 Division I-AA records. The San Francisco 49ers drafted Rice in the first round in 1985, the start of a 20-year career in which Rice won multiple Super Bowls and set 38 almost unreachable NFL records.
