We still need to see you doing two single punches, but with a smaller gap in between than usual.The Front kick is low section, side kicks are middle.The new move of Twin Knifehand has the same start position as Twin Outer Forearm Block, (palms facing, and the hand that is closest to your body depends on which leg is moving!!! The 29 movements refer to the 29 th Infantry Division, which is where Tae Kwon-Do developed into maturityMeaning of Black BeltBlack being the opposite of white. Therefore signifying maturity and proficiency in Tae Kwon-Do. He was reputed to have invented the first armoured battleship – The Kobutson, which was said to be the pre-curser to the modern day Submarine in 1592 A.D The Reason the pattern finishes with a left handed punch is to symbolise his regrettable death, having no chance to display his unrestrained potential. Which was checked by the forced reservation of his loyalty to the King. But a 9 year old 4th Kup will break using a side kick using a red board as they will break the next board up.

1st Dan Meaning of Kwang Gae –39 Movements Kwang – Gae is named after the famous King Kwang Gae Toh Wang, the 19th King of the Koguryo Dynasty. Who regained all the lost territories, including the greater part of Manchuria. The pattern diagram represents the expansion and recovery of lost territory. The 39 movements refer to the first two figures of the year 391 A.D, the year the King came to the throne.Meaning of Pe-Eun – 36 MovementsPo-Eun is the pseudonym of a loyal subject Chong Mong-Chu (1400) who was s famous poet and whose poem “I would not serve a second Master, though I might be crucified a thousand times” is known to every Korean. He was also a pioneer in the field of Physics. The Diagram represents his Indomitable Spirit, displayed while dedicating himself to the prosperity of his nation. Meaning of Choong-Jang – 52 MovementsChoong-Jang is the pseudonym given to General Kim Duk Ryang who lived during the Lee Dynasty in the 14th Century. This pattern ends with a left hand attack symbolize the tragedy of his death at 27 in prison before he was able to reach full maturity. Meaning of Juche – 45 MovementsJuche is a philosophical idea that man is the master of everything and decides everything. In other words the idea that man is master of the world and his destiny. It is said that this idea was rooted in the Baekdu Mountains which symbolizes the spirit of the Korean people. The diagram represents the Baekdu Mountain.
