Megan Strong and Rebekah Chong . Introduction . Throughout the play Hamlet we see the use of soliloquies to allow us into the characters minds and feelings. In this particular soliloquy we see into Hamlet’s feelings towards his mother and the emotional suffering he is feeling from the entire situation. We are able to view how he truly feels and see some foreshadowing of what may occur. . Jeremy,. . Melissa. , and Cate. Beforehand. Macbeth has killed Duncan and been crowned king. However, he is still disturbed by Banquo's prophecy of his children succeeding the throne rather than his own. Banquo is suspicious and thinks Macbeth cheated in order to have the prophecies of the witches come true..
