APICS Digital Products Overview
My Digital Products (MDP)
This is a library where a customer can access all digital products that have been assigned to them
The customer can access it through
MyAPICS
This library will store any access codes required by the customer as well as direct links to their material
My Company Inventory (MCI)
This holds digital products and other distributable inventory for a channel or corporate partner
Designated “Distribution Eligible Buyers” will be allowed to purchase and distribute products with this tool
The Distribution Eligible Buyers can access it through their My Digital Products librariesSlide3

What is My Digital Products library?
My Digital Products (MDP) is a library where you can access all your digital products. Digital products that you have purchased and you have been assigned will live in your MDP library.
How do I access My Digital Products?
Access your digital products from your My Digital Products library:
Log in to your My APICS account
Select the Quick Links tab at the top left of the page
Under Quick Links click on the My Digital Products link
Access your digital products
What does My Digital Products library contain?
Digital products that you have purchased and you have been assigned will live in your MDP library. The following information can be found in your MDP library:
Direct links to access your digital products
Digital product Expiration date
Complete order details including:
Digital Product Status (Active or Expired); Digital Product Type; Access Dates; Number of accesses; Purchase date; Order ID
Unique protected PDF Access code
What is My Company Inventory?
My Company Inventory (MCI) holds digital products and other digital distributable inventory for your channel or corporate partner. Digital products purchased by your channel’s or partner’s distribution tool buyers will be available to view and assign. Slide4

Who can access My Company Product Inventory?
Designated Distribution Tool eligible buyers will be allowed to purchase and distribute products with this tool. Please contact APICS Customer Service at

or 1‐800‐444‐2742 or +1‐773‐867‐1777 from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT to become a Distribution Tool eligible buyer.
What does My Company Inventory contain?
Digital products that you (or your company) have purchased and that you can assign will appear in your MCI library. The following information can be found in MCI:
Direct links to access your digital products orders
Digital product expiration dates
Assignee verification and bulk upload assignments
Complete order details including:
Digital Product Status (Active or Expired); Digital Product Type; Access Dates; Number of accesses; Purchase date; Order ID
Unique protected PDF Access code
How can products be assigned from My Company Inventory?
Access your company inventory of digital products from your My Company Inventory library:
Log in to your My APICS account
Select the Quick Links tab at the top left of the page
Under Quick Links click on the My Digital Products link
Click on My Company Inventory from the page
Access your inventory of digital products
What if an Assignee does not have an APICS ID?
You will need to create an APICS ID to each assignee prior to assigning a productSlide5

My Company Inventory
Inventory applies to the
Company
level
If the buyer manages multiple companies, they can switch between them using the dropdown
The purchases from all eligible buyers will appear in this inventory
The buyer can assign inventory with the “Assign” link
The buyer can view which inventory has been assigned with the “View Assignments” link
The buyer can view all orders for the product and assign products form specific orders using the “View Orders” linkSlide10

This page will allow eligible partner buyers to assign inventory to customers with an APICS ID
The buyer can use the check boxes to show or hide the orders and current assignments for these products

Follow the steps listed to assign products in bulk
First, download the “Bulk Upload Template” by clicking the link
It is best practice to download a new template whenever you start a new upload in case the file has been updated since your last uploadSlide18

Follow the instructions on the template
Save the file in an easy to find location
“Imaginary Learner” is record that our system will fail to find to show what you will see if there is a bad record in your spreadsheetSlide19

Click “Choose File” and choose the file you just saved from your computer
Click “Open” to upload the file
You should see the file name next to “Choose File”Slide20

Click “Upload Bulk Assignment File” to upload the records
All of your entries will appear in a list
The next step will be to validate these records against APICS users, click “Validate the Assignees”Slide21

Validated records will appear in the top table
My Company Assignments will assign your product to these records when you click “Assign to Product”
Invalid record will appear in the bottom table
You can address these records in your upload file and restart the process by clicking “Restart the Upload”Slide22
