CONFERENCES

21 There's a many minister tonight in the land, and in other lands, and many Christians tonight, that in their heart they really want to serve God, but they find themselves defeated, because they take their own intellectual conception of the Gospel:

just join church

or do some good thing, or give someone some clothes, or do a little good deed. If that's all that it took, then the Eden Conference was in vain, and the death of the Lord Jesus was in vain.

God laid a program down and we've got to come to that program. And sooner we get to that, the better the church will achieve the purpose of God, when we get to God's program.

3 I want to appreciate Brother Glenn… Because it shows a real fellowship and a brotherhood, that we want every person to stand at their post of duty at their church,

where that's your place; that's your duty to be there.

I've always tried to make it a custom to close on Sunday afternoon

so that people can attend their own church. We feel that every person is duty bound to attend some church and belong to some church as a Christian.

Many people say, "Oh, I stay home and read my Bible. I'm just as well off." No, the Bible said we shouldn't forsake to assemble ourselves together.

Take that choice, though it pulls the very skin off of your conscience, thinking that you're somebody.

Skin yourself down and take your way with the Lord's despised few, and stay loyal on the field of service and at the post of duty.

So I committed myself to the Lord.

With the ministry and all, I committed it to the Lord.

And I said, "Wherever You open, whatever You do, I'll walk in that way. Until You make a way, I'll just continue on as I am until You make the way." And I asked Him to make it so clear that I would not be deceived then, for I truly believe that we're right at a crossroads of something to happen.

We believe that every Christian ought to have a home church that they go to.

Every Christian ought to meet somewhere with believers.

13 Now, if I lived here, I would belong to one of these churches here, that these pastors that's cooperating, represents. Why?

Because they are here sitting upon the platform, to be seen of all people, that they endorse what is going on.

They believe in this type of ministry, Divine healing, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and so forth.

14 Now that's a real pastor, that's looking out for all the spiritual benefits that he can, of everything God is a doing, that he is trying his best to help his church to move on for God. I certainly take off my hat in admiration for a pastor like that. And these man had to do that under difficulty, too. You can believe that to be true. They had to do it under difficult.

And

I certainly am grateful for such great man of God, who is willing to take their place and their post of duty upon their convictions, and believe
