What does

tense

mean?

The tense of a verb tells us when an action is happening.

Is it happening now? In the past? In the future? All of these are different tenses.

Verbs take different forms when they change tense.

They can change tenses by changing their ending, adding words in front of them, or changing their spelling entirely.Slide3
