Types of Organization Structures

The Quality Activity Matrix is mostly used in a “Strong Matrix Organization” Reference Figure 2-4, page 24, for Strong Matrix Organization in PMBOK®Has a

full time Project Manager

with considerable authority and full-time project administrative staff.

Project staff is matrix from other functional areasIt will also works with the other types of matrix organization structures (weak, balance, and projectized and composite).

between the project manager and the quality manager or the project lead and the quality engineer.It is a baseline of minimum quality activities.
