(2) Click “add new” to open a pop-up screen where you can add your contact information.
Note: The email address you register here does

Using your Dashboard
Once you log in, you will see your dashboard, where you can quickly resume applications or view permit collections. The dashboard is accessible from the “Home” tab.
Work in Progress:
Find saved applications here. You can resume an application or pay fees here.
My Records:
Use “my records” to view your permit history.
My Account:Use “my account” to manage your login and contact information, and to link an existing contractor’s license to your online profile.My Collection:Create permit collections by searching for specific permits under the “Development Svcs” tab or selecting permits associated with your license from “My Records.”Slide6
Applying for a new license or certificate
Click on the “Contractor Licensing” tab and then choose “Apply for a License or Certificate”

On the screens that follow, select which certificate or license type you are applying for. Remember, some license types require that you already hold a supervisor certificate for that specialty, before applying for the license.

Complete each page of the application, paying attention to the instructions for each field. Click the help icon ( ) for longer instructions on some items.

Email address.
On page 1 of the application, make sure the email address associated with the “Applicant” is correct. Your supervisor certificate and/or license will be emailed to this address. Slide8
When uploading documents, use the list provided onscreen to ensure you are uploading all documents necessary for review.
To upload additional documents after submitting an application, return to the “Contractor Licensing” tab and select the appropriate certificate or license number displayed under “My Licenses.” Then, open the “Record Info” drop-down menu on the next screen and select “Attachments” to upload additional attachments.

You’ve applied. What happens next?
Most applications are reviewed within 7-10 business days. Right-of-way licenses may take up to 30 days to review.
You will receive a follow-up email with either an approval or a denial of your application.
If your supervisor certificate requires an exam, you must upload a copy of your ICC pass letter within 90 days of your application being approved before the supervisor certificate will be released to you.
Payment.
Once you receive an email notifying you that your application has been approved, return to the online system in order to pay for your certificate/license. Instructions are on the next slide.Slide10

Once your online application has been approved, you’ll be notified by email. Then, return to the online system, sign in, and select the “Contractor Licensing” tab. Under “My Licenses” on that screen, you will see the action available for your application now reads “Pay Fees Due.”
Fees are based on the type of application you submitted.

Once the payment is processed, your certificate or license will be emailed to the email address that was associated with the applicant on the application.Slide11
Adding your contractor’s license to your online account
From any page in e-permits, click “Account Management” at the top of your screen.
This will take you to the “Manage your Account” page shown here.
Click here to “Add a License.”
Once your license is added, it will show here under “License Information.”

Adding an Existing Contractor’s License to your Account

Select which license type you hold.
Then, enter your license number
exactly
as it appears on your license card,
including “LIC” and any zeroes.
Examples: “LIC001234” or “LIC12345”Don’t add zeroes if the license # on your card does not have any.34Click “Find License,” then verify that the license shown is correct and click “Connect” under the “Action” column.
Note: Call Contractor Licensing at 720-865-2770 to add a supervisor certificate to your account. Slide13
Tips
Once you’ve added your contractor’s license to your account (see the prior slide), you will be able to renew your license online.
Just look for “renew” in the “Action” column. Once your renewal is approved by our licensing team, you’ll see “pay fees” in the “Action” column.
NOTE: The online renew option is only available within 30 days of your renewal date.
