DRUG TESTING POLICIES DRUG FREE WORKPLACE ACT The Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988 requires all federal grant recipients to establish and enforce zero tolerance drug policies Any employer that fails to adhere to the requirements of the Drug Free Workplace Act risks payments for grant activities being suspended the whole grant being suspended or terminated or the grantee being prohibited from receiving any federal grants for up to five years
