Why do we need PBIS?
PBIS is a district wide initiative.
We want to ensure that students are
safe
, respectful and responsible while at school and to provide a positive learning environment. To achieve this goal, we must focus on teaching and acknowledging positive behavior for ALL students in ALL areas of the building. PBIS is a proactive, systematic approach in preventing and responding to classroom and school discipline issues. Our emphasis is on developing and maintaining a safe environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
= MORE TEACHING TIME FOR US!
