First look at the new application Implementation scheduleTraining planVendor Integration WorkgroupQ&A
Curriculum is the priority right now.
The Chancellor’s Office has been focused on:
Software development with the Tech Center
Working to support the current Curriculum InventoryLooking carefully at the workflow for managing submissions in process – now and after the new system goes live.Getting to a release schedule that supports the multiple needs inherent in working with diverse user groups of this magnitude.

Slide4Chancellor’s Office Update
Feedback from the 5C and the COCI Advisory Committee was sought while working on the launch plan for the new COCI application.
The 5C called for a critical evaluation of the planned conversion date based on feedback from colleges about local deadlines.
The COCIAC requested longer period to test before the first conversion. The resulting COCI implementation plan is structured around phases – allowing colleges more flexibility in migrating.
Slide5Important Reminders:The new COCI application is being designed to replace the system currently in use because the original contract concluded. The application isn't being designed for use as the primary curriculum management system at the local level.
The CCCCO is not requiring colleges to correct data validation issues prior to using the new application.
Courses and Programs that have validation errors will not change in status during migration and those errors will need to be corrected in the new system.
