Market Plan and Promotion

Biography

ANYKULTURE

are a four piece Dancehall/Pop group based in Stratford, London. They are made up of King

O’Bryant

Wreleh

, Ganiyu O Yusuf, Shamus Campbell and David

Olayemi

. Considered to have A range of different musical sounds including

Soca

, Afro-Beat, House, Reggae, Afro-beat, Jazz, Soul and Hip-Hop,

ANYKULTURE

are bringing a western influence to the Traditional African vibe and have potential for success in regions with huge dancehall followings like Africa and the Caribbean. With their western influences they have a real opportunity to grow as a household name in the UK and US.

Slide3

Target Audience

Age range:

18 – 35 years.

Gender:

Mainly female but also appeals to the younger male.

Locations:

UK, USA, Africa and Caribbean - Our sound would connect more to the African and Caribbean cultures but we don’t plan to limit ourselves to these areas and feel we can promote throughout the world.

Slide4

Distribution

CDs:

As there is still a Market for albums we would like to develop a physical copy of our work.

MP3:

The best way to promote our tracks online would be uploading them to sites such as iTunes and

Beatport

.

Streaming:

Using streaming sites such as Spotify and

Soundcloud

allow us to sell and promote our tracks in a different and potentially more effective way.

Slide5

Online presence

Facebook:

Plan to create a Facebook profile.

Twitter:

A Twitter account will allow us to promote ourselves, keep an eye on potential gig openings, auditions and other promotional events.

Music sites:

Uploading music to sites like

Soundcloud

and Spotify would be really beneficial to getting our sound out to the world.

Blog:

Constantly blogging about our activities such as where we are performing, new music and other information regarding our music would be massively beneficial.

Radio:

Radio will be a real opportunity for us to get our music heard with some stations allowing unsigned artists to upload their music to their websites.

Slide6

Touring

National:

We will begin a local tour throughout the summer, promoting our music throughout pubs, clubs and other venues.

International:

We are intending to have a concert in the Caribbean towards the end of next year.

Slide7

Merchandise

Even thought it is early in our career we are considering possible avenues in merchandising our image.
