How Our Business Works

Products are made by staff members and local artists working together to keep the store stocked with new and exciting merchandise.

Meetings will be held monthly to discuss new innovations for products and business management. Products made by staff members will be created in store and can be customized to meet the individual taste of our clients. As our company earns enough money, we will have the opportunity to expand to more stores in the state and eventually across the country.Slide7

Consumers Our target customers include females of all ages. Certain products are great for males as well!

Our customers want our products to lighten up their homes and express themselves in new and trendy ways.

To keep our customers satisfied and happy, we will try our very best to solve problems we might encounter. For example… - If a customer is unsatisfied with our products, we will reimburse them or exchange the product for one of their choosing. - If an item is not available, we will assure them that we will work our best to create the wanted product for them to purchase as soon as possible - If a buyer is unhappy with our customer service, we will consult the customer for suggestions, and improve to the best of our ability.Slide8

Competition Our products are locally manufactured and created entirely from materials made in America. Even though our products are not made overseas, using cheap foreign labor, we are able to keep our prices comparable to our competitors.

Other companies such as… Sunsations

Topiaries The Sterling Seahorse and other stores at the beach selling similar items… can not make amazing claims like these!Slide9

Government agencies & Labor regulationsGovernment Agencies:

FTC (Federal Trade Commission) – All products made from What Up Beach are locally purchased and produced. Our items are made in the USA, so trading with foreign countries is not an issue.

EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) – We do our best to use recycled items by repurposing them into products at our store. By doing this we are reducing our footprint on the Earth and meeting all guidelines from the EPA. Labor Regulations:In order to meet labor regulations, we will do the following… No child labor Minimum wage or greater pay

Meet the guidelines for working hours of employees

Etc.
