What is PAVE?

PAVE is a strategy that allows you to predict, associate, verify, and evaluate unfamiliar words.

Objectives:

You will use your background knowledge and context clues to predict words and make associations

You will use the dictionary to verify and evaluate meaning

Finally, you will create a chart to help you understand and retain these new words.Slide3
