Please choose the appropriate version of X2GO, Windows or MAC. Visit http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php to find links for Windows and MAC.For Windows, please choose the EXE file shown below
Slide2Install X2GO using the default options
Start X2GO from the start menuClick the New Session icon indicated to the right
Slide3Change the Session Name to something appropriate, in this case Koko.
Change the Host to koko.fau.eduAdd a Login name, you can leave this blank if you choose
Leave SSH port as the default, 22
Change Session type at the bottom to GNOME
Slide4Click the Media Tab
Deselect Enable sound support and Client side printing support. Click OK to save and close
Slide5Start X2go session
On the left side of the X2GO window, select the Session we just created, in this case, Koko.Login with your FAU
UserID and password.
Slide6Opening a terminal on Koko
Log into Koko with X2GOOn the desktop, click Applications in the top menu and select System Tools. Open Terminal to start a new terminal session, close the terminal window when finished
Slide7HOW TO LOGOUT
When finished using Koko, please sign outClick your username in the top menu bar and choose Quit
Click Log Out to log out of your session immediately or wait for 60 seconds to automatically be logged out
