What is Outdoor School?
For the last
38
years, 6
th grade students from the Conejo Valley have been spending a week at Outdoor School.Your student will be spending 4 days & 3 nights, away from home, learning about the natural surroundings they live in.Students learn the science of the area by taking hikes led by experienced Naturalists and participating in activities during their stay.Slide6

Cabins
Each cabin holds about 15 students and one - two counselors.The cabins are heated, with bunk-beds, electricity, and bathrooms. The bathrooms have sinks, showers, and flush toilets.
The cabins are installed with fire alarms, smoke detectors, and a telephone system to the camp office.Slide12
All meals are prepared by the Camp Bloomfield kitchen staff.
Vegetarian entrées are provided, as well as meals for any special dietary needs.
Students receive breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner each day.
There is no lunch on first day.
Food or snacks of any kind are not permitted in the cabins. This includes candy.
